A large doctors office contacted Answer America looking to find a solution to their after hours emergency calls. They were using another service and were upset with the high cost of the service in comparison to the number of emergency calls they received. After gathering additional information from the doctors and office managers, Answer America was able to determine that a large majority of the calls were from people wanting to know office hours and general information.
Our sales team offered the solution of combining Live answering service with voice mail. Callers with emergencies were immediately given the option of pressing zero to reach an operator and callers wanting only general information were redirected to a recorded message that provided office hours, directions and other general information.
The actual numbers of calls routed to a live operator were drastically reduced resulting in a significant savings for the doctors office and a grateful long-term customer.
